Hey there and welcome!  If you are here that means you want to know a little bit more about us, well here you go!

The Willows are a duo of Amanda Rose and Wendy Noren, respectively Amanda Rose Photography and Wendy Swanson Photography.  We joined forces to bring you not one, but two main photographers for your wedding day.  We both have over 5 years experience in the photography field and consider ourselves to be pretty fun photographers for your day! Honestly, if it comes down to wondering why you would hire us? We are fun. Our goal is to make you feel relaxed. That means we will do whatever it takes to make you forget you are embarking on your new modeling career as the next cover of The Knot (we wrote this so we can say that if we want) and just enjoy the day you have planned for the past 6 months, year or maybe even your whole life. We do this by filling any awkward moments with our constant chatter, making fun of ourselves, and we aren't below resorting to physical comedy by mocking our own clumsiness or even stepping in an showing you how to pose by posing together. We promise you will laugh and we will make it our goal that you are not only making posed memories as we photograph your day, but that we will remind you along each step to breath and be present.  This day is it and the only one you get. We make sure your day runs smoothly...our job title doesn't just begin and end with photographer.  We organize your day, bustle your dress, put in your veil, calm your groom, direct limo drivers and make sure your grandma gets her everyone look and smile shot.  

Amanda Rose is a natural light photographer residing in Valparaiso, IN.  Mandy and her husband have two sons, the ones who inspired her photography journey, and two dogs (both boxers, one who sits like a full grown human and has his own Tik Tok).  When not shooting weddings, she specializes in family and motherhood sessions. Her hobbies are attending concerts, especially Pearl Jam, and collecting beach glass. A perfect day to her would be a gloomy, overcast day with light rain, watching Twilight for the 50,000th time and lunch in SW Michigan….then a stop at Starbucks for a Strawberry Refresher. (and a Pearl Jam concert, always a Pearl Jam concert.)

Wendy Noren is a natural light photographer residing in the small but quaint town of Danville, IN.  Wendy lives in a 160 year old (some say haunted) house with her husband, two step-daughters and obnoxious dogs, Karen and Sadie.  Wendy specializes in boudoir, engagement, maternity, child and family portraiture.  Wendy started her business in 2009.  Wendy would prefer to spend every day curled up in an old quilt, reading a book, drinking a cup of french pressed coffee on the swing of her wrap around porch. In her spare time Wendy loves to add to her home's quirky decor, travel with her husband, visit small restaurants with diverse menus and play board games with her step-daughters.  It would be extremely fitting for Wendy to describe herself as a daydreamer.

The Willows are located out of Northwest Indiana and the Indianapolis area.  We serve all of Indiana, Southwest Michigan and the Chicago area.

We are available for destination travel.
